The GAM Story
From overlooked to undeniable
Every empire starts small. GAM began in 2014 as two net cafe teams with nothing but belief. Thirteen years later we are Vietnam's most decorated League of Legends organization and Vietnam's only Club Partner at the Esports World Cup. This is how a generation of underdogs became undeniable.
One team, five names, one belief
2014-2016
The Underdogs
Nobody was watching. We started anyway.
The founding
In May 2014, two net cafe rosters became Team Miracle. By October we were Boba Marines. We finished our first split near the bottom of the table. No sponsors, no spotlight, no reason to keep going except one: a belief that Vietnam belonged. So we kept going.

First blood
Boba Marines win the VCS Summer Split. The first domestic championship, and the first sign this was more than a dream.
A new name, a new gear
The team rebrands to GIGABYTE Marines. The roster that would shock the world was quietly taking shape, with a young jungler named Levi about to change everything.

2017-2020
Vietnam on the Map
We made the world look.
Vietnam arrives
An undefeated domestic run sends the team to MSI 2017, the first Vietnamese team ever on a global Riot stage. A first Worlds appearance follows the same year. The world learned to respect the team from Vietnam.
GAM Esports is born
On June 14, 2018, the team takes the name it would make famous: GAM Esports.

A VCS Summer Split title and a second trip to Worlds. GAM was here to stay.
The heartbreak
GAM posts the best regular-season record in the league, 27 and 5, but falls to Team Flash in a heartbreak Spring final. The hunger that would define the next era was born here.
2021-2022
GAM TIME
From believers to champions.
The bet
On May 12, CMG.ASIA and NRG Esports form NRG Asia and acquire GAM, already a five-time VCS champion. TK Nguyen becomes CEO, Dru Nguyen COO. The roster stays intact. A new era begins.
Monster Energy signs GAM, the first Southeast Asian team in Monster Energy Gaming
It's GAM TIME
SEA Games 31 gold, Vietnam's first ever League of Legends gold medal, with Levi as captain. Then, at Madison Square Garden, GAM stuns TOP Esports at Worlds. Two more VCS titles and a Prime Minister's Certificate of Merit cap the year.
In the locker room after the biggest night of our lives, a phrase was born that a generation would never stop saying. It's GAM TIME.
2023-2026
From Yellow to Gold
From a team to a movement.
Full ownership, national honors
NRG divests and TK takes full ownership. GAM wins both VCS titles and earns TikTok Vietnam's Best of Gaming. Its SEA Games roster and coach are named among Vietnam's first Esports Grandmasters, and Kiaya is honored as a WeChoice Z-Face.

GAM Entertainment
The parent company GAM Entertainment is formed, uniting the teams, the media, and the movement under one house. Two more VCS titles and a Worlds Swiss Stage Top 12, with a win over MAD Lions KOI, push GAM up the global rankings.
