A Letter on What Comes Next: Building a Movement, Not Just a Team

From the desk of Anthony "TK" Nguyen, Founder and CEO, GAM Entertainment.

Years ago, I bet on Vietnamese esports when very few people would. I was told our scene was too small, our talent too far behind, that a team from here would never belong on the world's biggest stage.

If you have ever been told your dream was too big, you know exactly what that feels like.

I am writing this from Paris, on the opening day of the Esports World Cup 2026, full of gratitude. Because we knocked on that door for years, and today we finally walked through it.

GAM Esports has been named one of the 40 Official Club Partners of the Esports World Cup 2026, the only one from Vietnam, standing next to the most respected organizations in the world. But this is so much bigger than GAM. It is proof that Vietnam belongs among the very best.

And Paris is not the finish line. It is a starting line. We are not building for one event or one team. We are building for the whole ecosystem, with three long term goals.

Esports as culture

Make esports something this generation grows up loving. The stories, the heroes, the moments that unite and inspire the way music, film, and sport do. Esports you can love whether or not you play.

Esports as a career

Behind every player is a whole profession, from coaches and casters to creators, analysts, and the teams who build the show. We want esports to be respected work, and a real engine for jobs, skills, and growth in Vietnam.

Esports as Vietnam's place in the world

Southeast Asia is home to the next rising billion, a young generation growing up online. Represent them at the highest level, then bring partners, investment, and opportunity home, so the entire scene rises with us.

Being a Club Partner gives us a platform, global exposure, and access to the biggest partners in the world. That is what lets us invest back into Vietnamese esports for the long term.

We do not rise alone

Here is what this journey has taught me. We do not rise alone. We rise when a whole community decides to show up.

So this belongs to you too. You do not have to be a GAM fan to be part of it. If you love esports, if you believe in its power to unite and inspire, then this movement is yours. Over the coming days you will see content from GAM at the Esports World Cup. If it crosses your feed, a like, a comment, a share, even a view, all of it helps. It takes a few seconds, it costs nothing, and it helps carry Vietnam onto the world stage. And do not just get behind us. Get behind every Vietnamese team here. When one of us rises, all of us rise.

To #GAMFAM, and to every fan of Vietnamese esports, you are the heart of this. Stay with us. Rise with us. Let's show the world that Vietnam belongs. This has never been just GAM's journey. It is ours.

Let's Rise As One, together. It's GAM Time.
