Thank You, Adrian: Once GAM, Always GAM
Đọc bằng tiếng Việt: Cảm ơn Adrian: Đã là GAM, mãi là GAM
From the desk of TK Nguyen, Visionary CEO, GAM Entertainment.
One of the hardest parts of building a business is saying goodbye to amazing people who have been part of the journey. Some chapters end before we're ready, and we don't always get the chance to say a proper goodbye.
Watching Adrian look back on her two years with GAM reminded me that this was never only about winning or building a successful business. It's about the people we meet, the memories we make, and watching each other grow along the way.

Stepping outside her comfort zone
Two years ago, Adrian almost didn't apply. She didn't speak a word of Vietnamese and had never worked for a Vietnamese company. She was full of doubts. She applied anyway, and she calls it one of the best decisions she has ever made.
She became our Operations Lead in Taipei, and in practice she was the team manager for our League of Legends team. What a journey it has been since then: so many ups and downs, laughs and tears. There were the regular seasons, MSI 2025 in Vancouver, EWC 2026 in Paris, and all the ordinary days with our boys that nobody films. At some point, she says, it stopped feeling like a job. The players became family.
The work behind the scenes
Fans see the players. A team runs on the people they never see: the flights, visas, meals and schedules, the bad days and the late nights. Adrian did that work, and she did something rarer too: she shared that side of esports with all of you. She posted in Mandarin and English, and you answered her with comments, likes and shares. She noticed every one.
One thing she said in her video stayed with me. The VCS used to be just a region to her. Now it is "a region where my friends are fighting." That is esports at its best: one shared passion turning people from different countries into family.
At the leadership table, Adrian joining from Taipei. Whenever there was a GAM table, there was a seat for her.
Level Up
At our H2 Kickoff in June, Adrian won the #LevelUp Award. She couldn't be in the room, so she joined from Taipei by video. I carried her around the office on an iPad, held her up next to the other winners, and when the whole company huddled at the end, she was up there with us, held high above everyone's hands. It was the right award. She lived what we mean by Level Up: being brave enough to start before you feel ready, and growing into the role.

Why we build
Building a company is hard. The decisions are hard, and the goodbyes are harder. Moving home to Vietnam for 2027 is the right step for GAM, and it also means some great people won't make the trip with us. But moments like this are why we do it. It's not just about where we end up, but who we become along the way.
Adrian, I'm so proud of how much you've grown and how far you've stepped outside your comfort zone. Thank you for everything you've done behind the scenes, and for showing the world that side of esports. Whether we see you at the LCP playoffs as an opponent, as staff or in the crowd, the #GAMFAM will be cheering for you.
You said you'll always remember what time it is. So will we. It's GAM Time.
Once GAM, always GAM. No matter where life takes you, you'll always be GAM Adrian. Happy belated birthday! 🎂🖤💛
